Extended hours surgery
This is a service we are providing through our PCN. Patients can book a doctors or nurses appointment during the weekend, you can call the GP practice from Monday – Friday 8am to 6.30pm and book appointments for the weekend or weekday evenings. On Saturdays the clinics are held in Star Lane Medical Centre between 9am to 1pm.
Home visits
Our doctors typically see four patients at the practice in the time it takes to do a single home visit. For this reason, we ask our patients to come to the practice if possible. However, we can visit you at home if your condition means you cannot attend the surgery. Please ring the surgery before 10am to arrange a visit.
Your appointment
However you choose to contact us, we may offer you a consultation:
- by phone
- face to face at the surgery
- on a video call
- by text or email
Appointments by phone, video call or by text or email can be more flexible and often means you get help sooner.
